My name is Diego and I am writing to apply as a dancer. I'm a freestyle dancer specialized in optical illusions and mechanical movement.

Some of these styles infused with optical illusions are:

Popping (techniques: hit, hard stop, snapping)
Miming (techniques: fix point, cause-effect)
Animation (techniques: tension, dimestop)
Characters that I used to perpetrate:
Robot (animation)
Toyman (animation)
Puppet (miming)
Dances that I embrace:
Ballet
Krump

My best skill inside of freestyle-optical illusion based dance is my robot. This performance allows me to interact easily with the audience, it is well known by the public and truly enjoyable for everyone. A dance!

As far as my experience goes, one of the happiest moments of my career consisted in being the main performer at the opening ceremony Ohmnishaki Festival, an electronic music festival.

I also have experience as an entertainer at hotels, most specifically at  Princess Hotel Jandia and Princess Fuerteventura, where I performed in their theaters  shows as Cabaret, Grease, Variety show (group and solo act), Lion King (interpreting Scar), Michael Jackson (interpreting Michael Jackson)...

As an actor, one of my favorite performances was interpreting Scar in The Lion King. In this performance I was able to combine my acting skills with the animation/robotics dance techniques, which are inspired by the very unique special effects of cinema.
In this area I have been able to recreate other characters, the last of these being Pennywise at Parque Warner.
